Hello Again!
I guess it’s about time I got busy and updated
the web page a bit…..although, there in rests part of the problem,
I’m always busy! Really, you would think someone that makes at
least part of his living as a writer would have no problem sitting
down and cranking out a few paragraphs every month, and I have every
intention of doing that, but good intentions just isn’t getting it
done. I’d love to include a list of excuses but I haven’t any good
ones so I guess I’ll have to fall back on one of my favorite
sayings, “Nothing to it but to do it”.
First, thanks to everyone for their kind words
and all the orders we have received for “RODEO BONES”. It takes
awhile for the word to get out but slowly and surely it is gaining
momentum. Cowboy Complicated, Twenty Years, The Hangman’s Tune, are
all getting radio play around the country and that always makes me
feel good. The latest copy of Rope Burns, an industry trade paper
has RODEO BONES listed #6 on its western music CD charts and the
song, Twenty Years, as # 9 on the western music song charts! As a
matter of fact, a review of RODEO BONES in the same paper says
“Twenty years is a contender for one of the sweetest cowboy love
songs EVER!” I know, sounds a little self promotional but if I don’t
do it on occasion…who will?
We are adding new shows all the time and have a
few that are tentative and may or may not happen so keep checking
back for updates. Also, thanks to those more technically astute than
I, (thank you cousin Beth) there is even a My Space page you can
visit….which turns out to be cooler than I thought. And, my thanks
to whoever put the “Buckaroo Moon” video on U Tube.
Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to
visit us here, I appreciate it very much. Also, please pray it gets
warm someday.
